Body Balance Nutrition – What we do
Between us, our team has a great deal of professional training and hands-on experience. But we have found that the best way to impart our knowledge is through structured, well defined service delivery.
We believe that nothing happens in isolation, and so a simple thing like misinterpreting a nutritional label can lead to complications if for example sugar intake is critical to your eating plan. Our supermarket tours can help you read nutritional labels with confidence and our cooking workshops provide you with the knowledge you need to prepare meals that are the best fit for your healing, health and performance goals.
Our aim is to empower you with proven knowledge and some of our methods of doing so are listed here.
Individual or family consultations
Initial appointments are 55 minutes where you will be asked about your diet, exercise levels, any medical history including medications and relevant blood test results (if applicable). You do not need to be referred by a doctor to make an appointment, however, if you have been referred by your doctor with a referral letter you should bring this with you to your appointment. Rebates are available through Medicare (with GP referral), Private Health Insurance and DVA.

Group workshops/presentations
Body Balance Nutrition delivers group nutrition workshops on any health topic or general healthy eating for sporting teams, gyms, schools, workplaces, clubs, and conferences.
Body composition assessments & monitoring
Adelle uses skinfold callipers and girth measures using the ISAK profile to assess and monitor body composition of athletes and active people alike. This internationally recognized method of assessing body composition will assist you in reaching your goals quicker, such as reducing body fat, increasing lean muscle mass or bulking up. ISAK profile is the considered the Gold Standard for measuring body composition in Australia and is used by the Australian Institute of Sport. Adelle completed her ISAK training in the UK while working with the Scottish Institute of Sport.
