Body Balance Nutrition continues to offer Telehealth Consults in addition to our in clinic face to face consults.
Medicare has Telehealth Items for people with a valid Medicare Referral. Most Private Health Insurance provide rebates for Telehealth as well. Contact your Dietitian for more information.
How Telehealth Consults Work:
In most cases you will receive an email with a Link to a Telehealth consult in the days prior to your consult. All you need to do is click on the link and wait for your dietitian to enter the Telehealth consult. No software is required. Alternatively, if you prefer to do a phone consult, your dietitian will phone you. Please be patient if your dietitian is running late, operating via new technology can sometimes have issues!
Some people may have previously set up Zoom, Skype or FaceTime consults, in this case, consultations will run via those platforms.
