In July we will welcome Accredited Practising Dietitian Annie Brady to the team!

Annie Brady, Accredited Practising Dietitian

Annie is an Accredited Practising Dietitian (APD) and a member of the Dietitians Association of Australia. She holds a Bachelor of Nutrition and Dietetics and has recently transitioned into clinical practice after a diverse career in the food and hospitality industry.
Before becoming a dietitian, Annie worked as a chef for 10 years. This hands-on experience in food service has given her a strong, practical understanding of meal preparation, food systems, and the role of enjoyable, nourishing food in everyday life.
Annie currently works across both hospital and community settings, providing insight into clinical dietetics across the continuum of care. She values delivering person-centred, evidence-based nutrition care that fits within people’s busy lives. She is particularly interested in supporting individuals to make realistic, sustainable changes that align with their lifestyle, with a strong focus on improving long-term health outcomes.
Outside of work, Annie enjoys travel and experiencing new places, as well as maintaining a balanced and practical approach to health and wellbeing in her own life.
“Throughout my career, I’ve come to value the importance of meeting people where they are at. My background in food and hospitality, combined with my clinical training, has shaped a practical and compassionate approach to dietetics. I believe that small, achievable changes can make a meaningful difference over time, and I enjoy working alongside people to help them build confidence in their nutrition choices” (Annie).
Sadly, Anna Porter will be leaving us in July to focus on her work at Tweed Heads and spending more time with her family. Anna has been a valuable member of our team and she will be missed by her colleagues and clients alike.
